Cindy J. Dennis was born and raised in Oklahoma City where she shared life with loving parents, four sisters, numerous cousins and many friends.
Her passion for art began as a young child. In addition to art classes she constantly studied to learn working with different mediums and to improve her mastery of various art techniques, methods and styles.
Cindy's paintings grew in popularity and one of her first employers, Penn Square Bank commissioned her to paint Christmas scenes on all their windows and doors. Cindy married young and put her art aside to raise four children while also creating a successful working career. Several years ago with her sister's persistent encouragement, Cindy dusted off her stored art supplies and resumed painting. She immediately realized how much she missed painting and how much joy sharing her art provides. While her primary medium is watercolors, she also enjoys working with alcohol inks and recently also began creating artworks she calls "Shadow Art" using mesh wire screen.
Cindy now resides in Port Orange, Florida. She is proud that her paintings have found their way into private collections across the United States as well as Northern Ireland. She believes art provides incredible gifts to inspire and delight and asks you to open your heart, mind and imagination to the endless possibilities that art provides.
